Building Process

This information is provided to help you become an informed consumer, who understands the building process and the product you are purchasing. We welcome your questions, comments and concerns during the building process. We will address all issues with respect and the desire to build a lifetime relationship with each Zollinger homeowner.


  • -Start date will be projected based on preliminary information
  • -Finish date will be projected based on scheduling, house features and time of year
  • – Schedule timeline provided with day-to-day activities of your custom home


  • -Selections Coordinator provided at our Design Center
  • -Design Center selections completed prior to construction
  • -Allowances are used for certain items to provide a cost guide
  • -Selection lists and approved vendor lists are provided


  • -The pre-construction down payment is for the house plan and the site plan development
  • -The construction payment schedule is made through five automatic bank draws
  • -Each draw is approximately 20 percent of the contract amount
  • -Final allowance payments due at final walk through


  • -Final quality assurance walkthrough with builder and homeowner
  • -One-year full Homeowners Warranty for house materials and labor
  • -Homeowners Warranty Manual designed and approved by Home Builders Association
